Concrete steps must be taken by the United States to bring its relations with China back on track.
Yang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, said that the United States should work with China to develop a bilateral relationship based on coordination, cooperation and stability, so as to bring China-U.S. relations back to the right track.
China-Arab trade volume reached 244.3 billion dollars in 2018, up 28 percent year-on-year. In 2019, the figure hit 266.4 billion dollars, an annual growth of 9 percent.
In the meantime, there are new risks and challenges in the implementation of "one country, two systems," the most prominent of which is heightened national security risk, Zhao added.
During an exclusive interview with Xinhua, Wang said the United States has launched a global campaign against a private Chinese company without any solid evidence, calling the move a textbook example of bullying.
"The constitutions of more than 100 countries in the world stipulate that the exercise of fundamental rights and freedoms must not endanger national security. The European Convention on Human Rights has similar provisions," the mission noted.
Washington, with its questionable policies and deeds, is losing support globally and has been reprimanded by various UN bodies quite a few times.
"All issues can be put on the table for discussion," Wang said.
The international community won't be fooled by the pirate-like bullyism under the guise of national security. Even the U.S. allies have protested against the brazen tricks.
