"It's clear that they are better prepared than us, especially when you consider they have had more than 20 days to adapt to the altitude," Scaloni told a virtual news conference.
"I didn't expect to take charge of the team at such an early stage. It arrived all of a sudden," she recalled. "But the team was at a crucial time, so I took it over."
